they say that feeling never ends

It’s no surprise that come January acts seem to shoot from absolutely no-where, to a situation where blogs are scrambling to be the first to give them a mention. It appears as though this is the case with Yuck. They’ve produced two demos, both completely excellent, both completely different. “Georgia” is a jangly lo-fi future classic that bears more than a passing resemblance to Pains of Being Pure at Heart, whilst newer demo “Automatic” shows a completely stripped down side with sparse vocals which sound a lot more influenced by Bon Iver than jangly shoegaze.

Soaring last.fm plays is a good indication if nothing else of the quality of these two tracks. “There is also a Black Metal band called Yuck from France. easy to confuse” - not for much longer if Yuck carry on as they are!
