Dazzle camouflage was a camouflage paint scheme used on ships extensively throughout World War I. It is credited to artist Norman Wilkinson and consists of a complex pattern of geometric shapes in contrasting colours, interrupting and intersecting each other.
Funnily enough this would be a pretty good way to describe Dazzle Ships the band. ‘The Colours Blend’ sounds effortlessly like a brilliant mix of Joy Division and The xx and that’s about all there is to say, other than the guy looks like he could do with some eye drops seems as though he might have a bit of conjunctivitis.
