The unconventional pop song; not something that’s always done well, but if mastered can yield great results. It seems as though Lonely Galaxy (a 17 year old from London) could be somewhat of a Bob Dylan for the bedroom generation. ‘Have a Heart’ is 7 minutes of aching honesty which builds over waves of fuzz and guitar riffs that recall Real Estate and Girls. With a 10” on the cards, it’ll be interesting to see whether Lonely Galaxy really has mastered the formula for heartfelt unconventional pop songs.
