So our competition close date came and went, and everything was all going swimmingly until in some strange turn of events Twitter deleted all the posts, making the whole competition a bit of a joke really. Finally managed to find some spare time in the very strange situation which is the ‘9 to 5 week’; so thought I would write a little blog post.
If there was an award for most under appreciated music blog it would surely go to Sweeping The Nation. So when Simon recommended (via the medium of twitter, we’re not real Internet friends) the band Pet Milk i knew i had to have a listen, even more so when he claimed their demos had a very PABH feel to them.
Upon listening to them i was like what?! This is well more POBPAH than PABH. It was then i realised I just hadn’t read the tweet properly. Aside from the rubbish anecdotes, what i really meant to say was that they are really great. Moral of the story? know your indie abbreviations kids!
